Cholmondeley and Chorley Parish Council Meeting Schedule for 2024/25
In accordance with the legal requirements set out in the Local Government Act 1972 and other applicable legislation governing parish councils in England, Cholmondeley and Chorley Parish Council ensures full compliance in the scheduling and conduct of its meetings.
Meetings of the Parish Council
Meetings of the Parish Council are held bi‑monthly in March, May, June/July, September and November, usually on the fourth Tuesday of the month, starting at 7.30pm.
Please note that, on occasion, meeting dates may need to change. Our councillors serve on a voluntary basis alongside demanding professional roles, and adjustments are sometimes required to ensure the meeting remains quorate and can lawfully proceed. Any changes will be published as soon as possible.

Meetings generally take place at School Farm, adjacent to the Cholmondeley Arms (by kind permission of Councillor Tony Fennell), or at the Bowling Green in Cholmondeley, depending on availability.
Members of the public are warmly encouraged to attend and may address the Parish Council during the Public Question Time session. Agendas are published on the Parish Council website at least three clear days in advance.
